Meet Miffy First Light, one of three small friends (alongside Boris and Snuffy) designed to be both a cute companion for little ones and a genuinely useful helper for parents. Standing 30cm tall, this rechargeable lamp is soft, portable, and made to go wherever it's needed most, whether that's the nursery, a late-night feed, or a spot by the bed.

The rechargeable LED module is the clever bit: depending on which of the six brightness settings you choose, one full charge lasts anywhere from 24 to 100 hours. Two simple buttons at the base handle everything, one for on/off, one to cycle through the settings, so it's easy enough to use in the dark without fumbling.

Made from BPA-free soft silicone, Miffy First Light is gentle to the touch and light enough to carry from room to room. Remove the LED module and the silicone body can even go in the washing machine, a small detail that makes a big difference for a lamp that gets handled often.
